KMSR- Kettle Moraine Sport Riders

HomeDualsport
i-BhxX8fw-X3

Every fall since 2004, KMSR has hosted a dualsport ride through the beautiful fall colors of the kettle moraine area. The club tries to alternate locations and properties each year for added variety. The route is typically around 100 miles in length and is a mix of public roads and private property trails. These property owners generously allow riders to access their properties for the day of the event only. The club works with landowners to create new trails through the woods and fields each year.

This ride is open to licensed riders on street-legal motorcycles with exhaust under 96db. The ride goes on, rain or shine, and the terrain can vary greatly. Knobby tires are required. Large ADV bikes with highly skilled riders have completed the route but they are not recommended.

2026 KMSR Field and Forest Dual-Sport registration is FULL!

Sorry, no waiting list or day of the event sign up. If you cant make the ride, you can sell your spot privately. To avoid scam sellers, reach out to KMSR to verify that the seller has a spot. They should have a post card from KMSR within a week or two of sign up.

GPS tracks will be posted here and links shared on FB on the night before the event. We have lots of changes to the trails right up to the day of the event due to crop harvests and weather related issues. No roll charts or route sheets. The roads and trails are arrowed and you will be able to follow groups as they leave each property.

The trail is set up with 2 loops and we circle back to the start location for lunch so you can refuel or make riding gear adjustments. No fuel trailer, bring gas cans so you can refuel at your vehicle at lunch. Gas stations are not far off the track in several locations if needed. Mileage will be 90-120mi with it roughly split in half for morning and afternoon.

The ride date is Saturday October 17th, 2026

The ride starts at Sunburst Ski Hill in Kewaskum

You must pre-register online. No day of event sign up. $125 registration. Includes T-shirt, lunch and dinner on Saturday.

Camping is available on Friday and Saturday nights. Pay for camping in person, bring cash. No fires
